Citizens residing in the unincorporated parts of Amador County or the cities of Jackson and Sutter Creek should first apply for their CCW permits through their respective jurisdiction of residence.

Each applicant is responsible for researching and evaluating prospective vendors for each vendor uses to meet the minimum suitability of course requirementscontent pursuant to Penal Code Section 26165. The Ione Police Department does not endorse the training styles, methodologies, facilities, or techniques used by each vendor to meet the minimum course requirements suitability.
